DS26C31T/DS26C31M CMOS Quad TRI-STATE® Differential Line Driver

DS26C31T/DS26C31M
CMOS Quad TRI-STATE® Differential Line Driver

General Description

The DS26C31 is a quad differential line driver designed for
digital data transmission over balanced lines. The
DS26C31T meets all the requirements of EIA standard RS-
422 while retaining the low power characteristics of CMOS.
The DS26C31M is compatible with EIA standard RS-422;
however, one exception in test methodology is taken (Note
8). This enables the construction of serial and terminal interfaces
while maintaining minimal power consumption.
The DS26C31 accepts TTL or CMOS input levels and translates
these to RS-422 output levels. This part uses special
output circuitry that enables the drivers to power down without
loading down the bus. This device has enable and disable
circuitry common to all four drivers. The DS26C31 is pin
compatible to the AM26LS31 and the DS26LS31.
All inputs are protected against damage due to electrostatic
discharge by diodes to VCC and ground.

Features
n TTL input compatible
n Typical propagation delays: 6 ns
n Typical output skew: 0.5 ns
n Outputs will not load line when VCC = 0V
n DS26C31T meets the requirements of EIA standard
RS-422
n Operation from single 5V supply
n TRI-STATE outputs for connection to system buses
n Low quiescent current
n Available in surface mount

General Description

The ADC0801, ADC0802, ADC0803, ADC0804 and
ADC0805 are CMOS 8-bit successive approximation A/D

logic is needed.
Differential analog voltage inputs allow increasing the
common-mode rejection and offsetting the analog zero input
voltage value. In addition, the voltage reference input can be
adjusted to allow encoding any smaller analog voltage span
to the full 8 bits of resolution.

Features
n Compatible with 8080 μP derivatives—no interfacing
logic needed - access time - 135 ns
n Easy interface to all microprocessors, or operates “stand
alone”

voltage level specifications
n Works with 2.5V (LM336) voltage reference
n On-chip clock generator
n 0V to 5V analog input voltage range with single 5V
supply
n No zero adjust required
n 0.3" standard width 20-pin DIP package
n 20-pin molded chip carrier or small outline package
n Operates ratiometrically or with 5 VDC, 2.5 VDC, or
analog span adjusted voltage reference

Key Specifications
n Resolution 8 bits
n Total error ±1⁄4 LSB, ±1⁄2 LSB and ±1 LSB
n Conversion time 100 μs

LM118/LM218/LM318
Operational Amplifiers

General Description

The LM118 series are precision high speed operational amplifiers
designed for applications requiring wide bandwidth
and high slew rate. They feature a factor of ten increase in
speed over general purpose devices without sacrificing DC
performance.
The LM118 series has internal unity gain frequency compensation.
This considerably simplifies its application since no
external components are necessary for operation. However,
unlike most internally compensated amplifiers, external frequency
compensation may be added for optimum performance.
For inverting applications, feedforward compensation
will boost the slew rate to over 150V/μs and almost
double the bandwidth. Overcompensation can be used with
the amplifier for greater stability when maximum bandwidth
is not needed. Further, a single capacitor can be added to
reduce the 0.1% settling time to under 1 μs.
The high speed and fast settling time of these op amps make
them useful in A/D converters, oscillators, active filters,

LM1876 Overture™ Audio Power Amplifier Series Dual 20W Audio Power Amplifier with Mute and Standby Modes

LM1876 Overture™ Audio Power Amplifier Series
Dual 20W Audio Power Amplifier with Mute and Standby
Modes

General Description

The LM1876 is a stereo audio amplifier capable of delivering
typically 20W per channel of continuous average output
power into a 4Ω or 8Ω load with less than 0.1% THD+N.
Each amplifier has an independent smooth transition fadein/
out mute and a power conserving standby mode which
can be controlled by external logic.
The performance of the LM1876, utilizing its Self Peak Instantaneous

LM146/LM346 Programmable Quad Operational Amplifiers National Semiconductor pdf datasheets download

LM146/LM346
Programmable Quad Operational Amplifiers

General Description

The LM146 series of quad op amps consists of four independent,
high gain, internally compensated, low power, programmable

current for bandwidth or optimize noise figure for a given
source resistance. In a similar way, other amplifier characteristics
can be tailored to the application. Except for the two
programming pins at the end of the package, the LM146
pin-out is the same as the LM124 and LM148.
